Brands Hatch – Final pre-season test!

After a successful pre-season test at Donington Park, Andrew topped off his winter testing schedule at the Brands Hatch on April 13th as part of his preparation for Round 2 of the Championship to be held at Brands Hatch on May 15th.

Joined by his SWB Motorsport team mates and several teams from the BARC Formula Renault Championship, the test gave another opportunity for the team to gauge their cars performance against its rivals for the 2011 season.

Continuing his form from the previous test at Donington Park, Andrew was quickly setting competitive times in the morning session as the team evaluated the setup and the introduction of a new data logging system on the car.

Without the use of new tyres, Andrew finished the afternoon early to save his engine for next weekend’s season opener and was pleased to end the day as the fastest runner on older tyres and full of confidence heading into the start of the season.
