Milton Keynes, UK – 24 February 2015: Milton Keynes based Racing Driver Andrew Jarman, recently unveiled his 2015 Eurostar sponsored Aston Martin Vantage GT3 race car at a special ceremony held at Eurostar’s Temple Mills depot in front of their engineering staff and specially invited guests.
The Eurostar unveiling saw the start of a brand new partnership programme designed around the transfer of engineering knowledge and employee engagement and will offer Eurostar staff the chance to experience the world of GT racing as a guest of Andrew at the Avon British GT Championship.
Andrew’s first experience in his new #27 machine run by official Aston Martin Racing partner team, TF Sport will be on March 6th at the Monteblanco Circuit in Spain. This year Andrew hopes to continue his impressive form in GT racing, having won the 2013 Aston Martin GT4 Challenge, quickly followed up by a runner-up finish in the 2014 Avon British GT GT4 Championship.
Taking centre stage alongside the race car was Eurostar’s new 200mph e-320 train which will enter service in November 2015 and the inspiration for Andrew’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3 livery in a stunning blue, yellow and white design. The car’s livery is completed with title sponsor Eurostar logos and official sponsors TXM Recruit, TXM Plant and Raildoor Solutions.
Commenting on the unveiling, Andrew said: “Today is the realisation of many months of hard work and I am proud to unveil the stunning livery today, especially against the backdrop of Eurostar’s high speed e-320 and in the presence of Eurostar’s engineering team and invited guests.
“Today has been a memorable day and the ideal way to start my 2015 season, I can’t wait to drive the car for the first time in a couple of weeks and looking forward to another exciting season in British GT.”
