2013 Aston Martin GT4 Challenge Winner Andrew Jarman is set to start his 2014 season with a guest drive in a special one off Aston Martin Challenge event at the Fuji Speedway, Japan driving an Aston Martin GT2 and GT4.
After a successful 2013 which saw the Milton Keynes racer on the podium for eight of the nine GT4 Challenge rounds, Andrew is looking to combine this special event with a season in the British GT Championship and entry into the Spa 24 Hours in July.
Held at the famous 2.7 mile Fuji Speedway, this unique event on March 16th will showcase the history of Aston Martin cars including a one off race for Aston Martin’s modern era GT2 and GT4 race cars.
Preparing for his first trip to the iconic Japanese circuit, Jarman will be spending time in the simulator to learn the circuit over the coming weeks.
“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to take part in this unique and special event showcasing Aston Martin’s racing heritage. The Fuji Speedway is one of the world’s most iconic circuits and it’s going to be an amazing experience, especially driving the GT2 Aston Martin. I’ve been working hard on my preparation for this season and aiming to build on my success last year, there is still some work to do but I hope to be racing in the British GT Championship this year and return to Spa for the 24 Hours in July.”
